Use Clean, Green Transport
Transport is Australia's third-largest source of greenhouse gas emissions, and has the fastest growing emissions of any sector. More than 75% of Australian commuters travel by car to their place of work or study and this has serious consequences for the environment.
Re-think how you get to and from work. Instead:
- Use public transport, walk or ride to work
- Make your car travel for work cleaner by considering green options in your fleet management, car pooling and learning about fuel smart driving
- Telework from home for part of the working week
