Living Sustainably

Issue 9 - Oct 2008
WRB Cover

A 4.5 star water efficient washing machine can save your household up to 100 litres every wash.

To help your household save money and water, the NSW Government's Residential Rebate Program under the $340 million Climate Change Fund is providing a $150 cashback on any 4.5 star rated washing machine.

Download your copy of the $150 Washing Machine Rebate brochure (PDF, 420KB) now.

Sydney householders can also save energy and receive $35 by getting rid of their second fridge. The NSW Government's Fridge Buyback program under the Climate Change Fund is being rolled out in partnership with Sydney councils.

Book a collection via the Fridge Buyback website or call 1800 708 401.

The Climate Change Fund also provides rebates for installing a rainwater tank, ceiling insulation or an enviro-friendly hot water system.

Visit the Our Environment – it's a living thing website for more ways to save energy and water at home.
