The Environmental Trust invites applications to grant programs

The programs below are still open. Please note that the closing dates are staggered.

Eco Schools Grants Program

60 grants of $2,500 each (total program $150,000). Schools who did not receive an Environmental Trust grant in 2006 are eligible to apply.

Workshops will be offered across the state to assist schools to understand the program and provide advice on preparing grant applications. More information on workshop locations and dates is available on the Trust website.

Closing date for Eco Schools is 5pm, 27 April 2007

Environmental Restoration and Rehabilitation

Grants of $5,000 to $100,000 available to: Community organisations and non-profit associations (total program $1.5 million). State and local government organisations (total program $1.5 million).

Closing date for Restoration and Rehabilitation 5pm, 4 May 2007

Protecting our Places Aboriginal Grants Program

Grants of $2,000 to $35,000 available to any Aboriginal community group or organisation (total program $500,000). Workshops for the Protecting our Places program will be held across NSW.

Workshop locations are: Orange, Warren, Port Macquarie, Walgett, Balranald, Narrandera, Ulladulla, Queanbeyan, Ballina, Mt Druitt, Toronto, Gunnedah and Wilcannia. For more information and to register for these workshops please phone (02) 8837 6093.

Closing date for Protecting our Places 5pm, 25 May 2007

Guidelines, application forms and more information is available on the Trust website or by phoning the Trust on (02) 8837 6093.

The Urban Sustainability Program, including the new Urban Waterways Priority Catchments Project grants, close for applications and EOI's on 30 March 2007, however if you want further information on those programs visit the Trust website or phone the Trust on (02) 8837 6054.
