Living Sustainably

Issue 23 - March 2012
1 Million Women supporters

1 Million Women launched their SAVE campaign in Febuary, to inspire members to save $1000 a year on household bills.

Each month the campaign will highlight a different area of household spending and shares tips to save money and our environment. Food was the focus in the first month, with 1 Million Women members receiving daily tips to reduce food waste.

By the end of February, members were on-track to save at least $500 a year with simple actions like planning meals, cooking the right portion sizes and storing food correctly.

During March the spotlight is on driving; when you drive, how you drive, what you drive and whether you need to drive at all. Power, wear, shop and invest are the remaining areas that will feature in the coming four months.

Sign up to 1 Million Women today for help to help our environment and save money. Everyone is welcome – men included!
