Power saving kit

Home power saving kit

The Home Power Savings Program has helped its 85,000th household to save power and money on their energy bills.

Their combined savings is estimated to reach over $21 million – making a difference to household budgets across NSW.

This free program, available to eligible concession card holders, offers an in-home power assessment, free power savings kit, plus a tailored power savings action plan.

Single parent Kimberly from Western Sydney joined the program earlier this year and is already saving on bills. Kimberley and her daughter pledged to take shorter showers and switch their appliances off at the wall. Kimberley says the money she is saving on her bills is going straight towards her daughter's education.

If you are eligible for the program but have not taken advantage of this free service – there is still time.
