Living Sustainably

Issue 19 - May 2011

Five lucky winners of the Home Power Savings Program prize draw have each won a $1,000 grocery voucher, which can be redeemed at any Woolworths or IGA store.

The prize draw was open to all households that booked an appointment for a free home power assessment between 8 November 2010 and 1 February 2011. The prize draw was an extra incentive for households to take part in the program, which helps pensioners and families on a low income save up to 20 per cent off their power use.

Households that had already joined the program did not miss out either; for every friend or family member that they referred, they also received an entry into the draw.

Join the Home Power Savings Program

While the draw has now closed, the program remains open to all eligible concession card holders across NSW.

Eligible households receive a free home power assessment by a trained energy expert to find out what is using the most power in the home, a fully installed Power Savings Kit – worth around $200, and a tailored action plan outlining more ways to save power around the home.
