Port Kembla Beach – It's a Winner – at a State and National Level!

An exciting vision for Clean Beaches and a Connected Coastline...

This Keep Australia Beautiful NSW program is responding to an identified need for a more collaborative community approach along our iconic coastline.

Individuals, groups and councils who care about the coast have an opportunity to come together as a committee to share knowledge and resources in regard to their local environment, identify areas for improvement and drive local projects, to benefit their beach.

Addressing agreed needs and issues will result in a more holistic approach and positive outcomes for the environment and the community, whilst also saving money. Recognition through the Clean Beaches awards 2011 will follow!

Clean Beaches, supported by the Department of Environment, Climate Change and Water NSW will be building a committee in your area and we need a cross section of concerned, active citizens to be part of this exciting initiative. WE NEED YOU!

To register your interest in contributing towards a better future and positive improvements to local beaches email: cleanbeaches@kabnsw.org.au
