Living Sustainably

Issue 13 - Nov 2009
Your Green Home display

Your Green Home display

There are many ways we can live sustainably at home. We can reduce waste, save energy and conserve water. Your Green Home is an easy to assemble display to show people how they can save at home. The new interactive feature shows how much power standed and energy efficient lights use. Your Green Home was on display regularly throughout August. Holroyd Council and councils in the Hunter region took the display to shopping centres, field days and environment workshops. The display was also shown for two weeks in the ABC foyer for National Science Week and the Ultimo Science Festival.

In September, it was explored during the Eco Kids Festival at Luna Park. Lane Cove Council is featuring Your Green Home at events throughout October.

The display is for indoor use only. To find out more about Your Green Home visit www.livingthing.net.au/Go/Default.aspx?tabid=1272
