Fridge buy back team collect another fridge

The NSW Government's emission-saving Fridge Buyback Program has expanded from Sydney to the Illawarra. With the support of Wollongong and Shellharbour Councils, the program commenced on 3 April 2009. Fridges are the third biggest power users in NSW homes and older, second fridges can use three times more energy than new ones. Fridge Buyback pays you $35 to remove your old fridge (certain conditions apply) and have it professionally degassed and recycled.
