Living Sustainably

Issue 10 - Feb 2009
Bike racks

There are plenty of things to do in Sydney during January and getting on your bike is a great way time to beat traffic congestion and enjoy the city sights.

Nearly 1.5 million bicycles were sold in Australia in 2007– outselling cars for the eighth year in a row.

In 2009, the Department of Environment and Climate Change NSW is again joining forces with the Sydney Festival and Bicycle NSW to encourage Sydneysiders to pedal to Jazz in the Domain (17 January 2009) and Symphony in the Domain (24 January 2009).

Free bike parking will be provided at both events helping attendees to get active and do their bit for the environment.

The bike parking site will be located near the intersection of Hospital Rd and Central Ave in the Domain.

Why not get on your bike and ride to the 2009 Jazz and Symphony in the Domain?
