Litter – don't be a tosser

Illegal Dumping

Did you know you can be fined or prosecuted for dumping waste or transporting waste to a place that cannot legally accept it? Don't risk a $5,000 fine or penalty of up to $250,000.

Check beforehand that a landfill or resource recovery facility can legally accept the waste you are transporting. Retain all dockets and receipts for the waste you transport, including the name and address of the origin of the waste and its destination.
