There are many forms of public transport. Depending on your location and your intended destination you may find you have a choice of routes or transport types.

Apart from the immediate environmental benefits, using public transport for all or part of your journey can be economically beneficial. Especially when you consider and include parking, tolls, fuel and the often ignored running and servicing cost of operating a vehicle.

Like all means of transport, planning can make a big difference. Plan your journey well to avoid the obvious bottlenecks – rearrange meeting times or locations to avoid peak hour and/or over-trafficked routes.
