Overview

Our environment - it's a living thing Banners
– installation and use

1. Step 1. Choose the banner
   – choose the banner design and size most suited to your website and the intended placement location
2. Step 2. Download the Banner
   – download the banner file from our banner page and save it to your desktop. When the download is complete, locate the file and change the filename extension FROM .swZ TO .swf
3. Step 3. Upload the Banner to your website
   – upload or copy the banner to your website and make a note of its exact location (ensure the file extension is .swf)
4. Step 4. Copy the banner script
   – a "play-here" script must be inserted in your webpage. There is a script for each banner size. Copy the script that matches the banner ad size you have downloaded.
5. Step 5. Insert the script
   – open the webpage which will show the banner. Using your favourite HTML editor, locate the position within the page where the banner will be placed. Now, paste the script you just copied. Remember to insert the script for the banner size you'll be using.
6. Step 6. Set file location
   – locate the lines within the pasted script:
   

   <param name="movie" value="[filelocation]XXX_livingthing.swf" />

   and,
   

   <embed src="[filelocation]XXX_livingthing.swf" quality="high"....

   Replace the phrase [filelocation] with the location or path of banner file you uploaded to your website (refer step 3). Verify the name of the banner also matches the name of the banner you uploaded
7. Step 7. Upload the revised webpage
   – save the webpage and upload/publish the revised webpage to your website

Banner Scripts

Locate the Banner size you are using, and select all script references between, and including, the start <object classid... and end </object> tag.
